Privacy and removal
BAM Echo Academy is built so we never need to know who a child is.
What we do not collect
We never ask for, store, or publish a student's name. Not in a form, a file name, a caption, or a database. Pictures are cleaned of camera and location details before they are saved.
What we do keep
For each piece of student work: the picture, the prompt the student wrote, and an anonymous code such as 1234-0007. The first four numbers identify a class. The last four identify one piece in that class. Only the teacher knows which student a code belongs to.
For teachers: the email and school you give us at sign-up, used only to send you your class codes and to contact you about your class. It is kept apart from the student work and is never published or sold.
What is public
Nothing goes on the website until a person at BAM Echo Academy has looked at it. Public pieces show only the picture, the prompt, and the code.
Using the work for learning research
We may study the prompts, with codes only, to learn how students communicate with AI. We only share overall findings, never any individual child's work or details.
Ask us to remove a piece
A teacher, parent or guardian can ask for any piece to come down. Enter the code shown under the picture. We remove it quickly and permanently.
Or email hello@bamechoacademy.com with the code.
